These are actual letters that I found on the computer that children wrote to God.
From Alison—Dear God, I read the Bible. What does "begat" mean? Nobody will tell me.
From Jane—Dear God, Instead of letting people die and having to make new ones, why don?t you just keep the ones you have now?
From Norma—Dear God, Did you mean for the giraffe to look like that, or was it an accident.
From Joyce—Dear God, Thank you for my baby brother, but what I prayed for was a puppy.
From Bruce—Dear God, Please send me a pony, I have never asked for anything before. You can look it up.
From Nan—Dear God, I bet it is very hard for you to love all the people in the would. There are only four people in our family and I can?t do it.
From Larry—Dear God, Maybe Cain and Abel would not kill each other so much if they had their own rooms. It works with my brother.
All of these letters had one thing in common. Every single child expected God to read their letter, and to respond to their letter. Wouldn?t it be wonderful if we had the same faith in God that little children have?
We love you all.
