Another year has quickly passed away and we have a new beginning. Another chance to finish well, since we serve a Lord of second chances. As we start 2012, the Women's Ministry has a lot planned for the new year. Our purpose is to grow in the Lord, grow closer together as a body of women, to reach out in ministries and to become stronger ambassadors for God. Wouldn't it be great to be so close to God that we could hear His heart beat? That's what I want for the women of Altamahaw Baptist Church.

We are starting the year off with a P Party on Saturday January 21st at 12noon. Wear something that starts with a P, bring a covered dish that contains a food that starts with a P. Cindy Tucker will be speaking on the P's of the Bible. Sign up sheet is on the Women's Ministry Board. Bring a friend. There will be lots of good food, fun, fellowship, games, door prizes, studying God's word and the Lord will be there too. Please sign up. No Charge. Childcare will be provided. When you sign up, note beside your name "childcare needed" so we will know.

Valentine's Luncheon on Saturday February 11th at 12 noon. Childcare will be provided. Cost $8.00 per person. There will be a speaker, door prizes, games, great food and fellowship. Invite everyone you know. Sign up sheet on Women's Ministry Board.
